According to the manufacturer and distributors, Chauvet will have some interesting offerings for the market this year. One of them is the Maverick Storm 1.
The unit is based on a 520W LED engine. Equipped with two prisms, frost, animation dial, probably gobo and other bits and bobs, it is supposed to be an ideal choice for rentals, and thanks to its even spot without hot-spot, great for camera work.
In a word, Chauvet is creating competition for such devices as ACME Mana Hybrid, ADJ Focus Spot, or Prolights AstraHybrid. The question is, is it too late?
