Harman introduces AMX MUSE automation platform and four new controllers

The MUSE Automation Controller family includes powerful, secure and reliable devices that provide dedicated computing resources to support the AMX MUSE automation platform. The controllers can simultaneously process a virtually unlimited number of scripts written in JavaScript, Python or Groovy, and natively support low-code programming using the well-liked and widely used Node-RED system on the market.

MUSE controllers are equipped with a state-of-the-art processor that runs as much as 10 times faster than that used in previous AMX NX series controllers. As a result, MUSEs can make efficient use of the built-in industrial-grade eMMC memory.

The MUSE series are devices built on HARMAN's secure Linux platform, specifically designed to meet the rigorous demands of network security, especially in the most critical installations.

The controllers natively support Harman's new HControl group control protocol (open-API) used today by all new AMX and JBL devices, and in the future by brands such as BSS and Crown. Harman is also not forgetting support for older devices using HiQnet and the ICSP protocol (older AMX control devices). AMX MUSE is the ideal automation processor for any space, environment or application - old or new.
