This Privacy and Cookies Policy (hereinafter referred to as the "Policy") sets out the terms on which your data are processed on the website available at https://stageupdate.pl (hereinafter referred to as the "Website").
The administrator of your personal data, as well as the owner of the Website, is Dominik Kwiatkowski conducting business activity under the name "Nie po oczach Dominik Kwiatkowski" with registered office in Gdańsk (80-531) at ul. Sucha 39a/26, holding NIP number 7393823020 (hereinafter referred to as "Administrator"). The Administrator has not appointed a Data Protection Officer, but for all matters related to the processing of your personal data on the Website, please contact kontakt@stageupdate.pl.
The Policy has been developed based on the provisions of Regulation 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of the European Union of April 27, 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free flow of such data and the repeal of Directive 95/46/EC (hereinafter referred to as "RODO"), and in particular Articles 13 and 14 of the RODO defining the information obligation of the Data Controller. Whenever the Policy refers to, among other things, "data" or "personal data," "processing," or "controller," these terms are to be understood as defined in the RODO.
Before using the features of the Service, everyone should read the Policy.
Purposes of personal data processing
The Administrator processes your personal data in order to handle requests accepted through the contact form, which is available on the Website. The legal basis for this processing purpose is Article 6(1)(b) of the DPA.
Your data may also be used for, among other things, marketing purposes or sending newsletters, but only after obtaining your consent under Article 6(1)(a) of the DPA and under the terms of Article 7 of the DPA. You may withdraw your consent to process your data for the purposes specified above at any time. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out on the basis of consent before its withdrawal.
Your data will also be processed when you express a desire to create a user account on the portal in order to enable the delivery of the service related to commenting on publications available on the Website.
In legitimate cases, especially when you use the Website in violation of its terms and conditions or the law, the Administrator may process your data in order to protect your rights and interests on the basis of a legitimate interest within the meaning of Article 6 (1) (f) RODO.
Your personal data is not subject to profiling.
Provision of personal data to the Administrator is voluntary, but necessary for the purposes set forth in this section of the Policy.
Categories of personal data processed
In order to carry out the processing purposes specified in the Policy, the Administrator will process the following categories of your personal data:
- Name,
- Name,
- Profile links,
- Email address,
- Any other information, constituting personal data, which you indicate in the subject or content of your message addressed to the Administrator.
Source and recipients of personal data
We obtain your data exclusively from you and reserve the right to share or entrust it to entities that cooperate with the Administrator. This may only be done to support the performance of the benefits to which you are entitled from the Administrator or to defend the rights and interests of the Administrator.
Protection and retention of personal data
We secure the communication between your device and the Administrator's IT environment by encrypting the connection using SSL (Secure Socket Layer).
The Administrator's IT environment is adequately protected against the risk of interception of processed personal data, and in particular against hacking attacks.
Your personal data will be processed for no longer than necessary for the purposes for which they were collected, with a maximum retention period of 6 years. Exceptions are situations where applicable laws require the Administrator to keep them longer. Storage periods may vary depending on the purpose of processing.
The Administrator processes your data only within the European Union.
Your rights in relation to the processing of your personal data by the Controller
If the Administrator processes your personal data, you have the following rights under the RODO:
- The right of access to data under Article 15 of the RODO,
- The right to rectification of data under Article 16 of the RODO,
- The right to erasure under Article 17 of the RODO,
- The right to restrict data processing under Article 18 of the RODO,
- The right to data portability under Article 20 of the RODO
- The right to object to the processing of data on the basis of Article 21 of the RODO,
- The right to withdraw consent to data processing - if consent has been granted and the Administrator processes data on that basis - on the basis of Article 7(3) of the RODO.

Cookies

Create a user account and comment section
The user of the site can voluntarily register his/her account through the registration form available on the site. The mandatory data that the user must provide are:
- Username - a unique name to identify the user and the name used to log in to the site
- Email address - the user's email address, which will be used for the purpose of verifying the user's trustworthiness
- Password - a unique password that the user will use to log in to the site, your password is stored in encrypted form and unavailable for traditional viewing by moderators.
Other user data is optional. Registering an account is not the same as subscribing to the newsletter.
Capabilities of registered users
Each user who voluntarily created an account gets access to the following features of the portal:
- The ability to log in and out of the portal.
- Edit user data in the user edit section accessible through a link in the site navigation menu such as
- First Name, Last Name, Company, Choice of pivot in comment section, Password, Avatar
- Ability to add, edit and delete your own comments in the comments section under any publication that has this feature enabled
- Change password through user edit panel or through password reset page
Rules for adding and publishing comments
The Regulations set out the rules for adding comments to the www.stageupdate.pl website.
Submitting a comment to an article is tantamount to acceptance of these Regulations. Anyone can add a comment free of charge via a special form available under each article. Comments are approved automatically by the site's system. The Administrator and Moderators have the right to remove comments that contradict the applicable laws and good manners, including, in particular, prohibited content:
- defaming and slandering public and private persons
- calling for racial, religious, ethnic hatred,
- promoting violence,
- offensive,
- containing information that incriminates others with unproven allegations,
- Contributing to copyright violations,
- Promoting intoxicants, drugs, alcohol,
- containing vulgarities,
- containing advertising content,
- deemed to violate the rules of Netiquette,
