Production Assist Software

New software in the production management category.

In the world of event technology in the broadest sense, there has appeared a program that is not a visualizer, and for everyone to remember that. Production Assist because it is referred to is an event planning program.

From creating the visualization(yes it has this option but for pre-programming it is not suitable) to planning the power supply and DMX signals, calculating the loads of the winches, planning the loading and pace space of the trucks to designing the stickers for the trucks with QR codes.

The technician will scan the QR codes with his phone and see where the head should hang and what address it should have. He will get a full view of the project and, depending on what status he has, he will be able, or not, to edit the project. All with the help of a smartphone. That is, all the logistics in one program. Plan and documentation. Little of it.

Put on VR goggles and deploy devices in virtual reality! Sounds good huh? Everything is beautiful however, in my opinion the soft is a bit like its confusingly similar to the popular disco polo channel logo. Seemingly we have it all but nevertheless some kind of ... and here I will leave you room to finish.

Check it out for yourself, because for some the program may be wonderful and for others it may be horseradish (I like horseradish, but horseradish pinches and hurts in the mouth). You will download the Comunnity version for free and it limits you to 6 extractors and generally truncates many features. For the full version you will pay 120 euros per month. Importantly, the company that produced the soft will be exhibiting in Frankfurt at Prolight&Sound so we'll definitely be back.
