Artificial intelligence is becoming a daily reality, and the vision of the Terminator's appearance is becoming more and more likely. If a naked muscle man asks you for clothes in the middle of the night, give it back and don't cackle, you might survive. By the way, dear children in the light a terminator is called an XLR plug, which is plugged into the last device to eliminate interference. Such a plug has a resistor that absorbs the signal.
Coming back to artificial intelligence or AI or AI in American, it is becoming very helpful in many areas. Actually, it is easier to say where it is not helpful or could be. I think Mr. Marian from under the store can rest assured of his job. At least for now.

Do we workers in the stage industry have anything to fear? Yes!
We already have moving heads, and if we add to each AI they will shine on their own as long as they get along. Because they will also talk. After all, they're mordo heads! So the AI will write music, which it will perform on a stage built by machines. Where the smart heads will figure out what and how to shine. You will ask, what about the sound system? I beg you people. The speakers will be tiny, and the acousticians aren't actually doing anything anymore (kidding friends).

Alright, we've joked, so let's come down to earth. I took the liberty of such an introduction because there are and will be programs, applications that are revolutionizing our industry as well. One such "app" is MOVE.AI ( https://www.move.ai/ ). It allows you to capture motion in any environment with your camera or phone. That is, Motion Capture. Once a technology for a pile of money, today for use by virtually anyone for $365 per year. Only that there is a limit of 6h of processed footage during this period. For additional one pays $0.04 per second.
You ask and what does this have to do with our industry?
Well, quite a lot. Imagine a singer on stage, and behind him a screen on which Elvis dances in real time, exactly replicating his movements. Not to mention usability on TV because that's our industry too. Not necessarily with Elvis, but such bits and pieces were recently presented by media server manufacturer Disguise D3, which became a Move.AI partner. Of course, to make everything work apart from the cameras and the app, we still need a graphics program that will transform our character into Elvis, i.e. Unreal Engine, Unity or Blender, for example. There should also be 4 to 6 cameras.
And so this is all managed by artificial intelligence, so we don't need motion-sensing suits. This allows us to achieve downright cinematic quality motion capture like from the movie Shrek (yes I'm old and I've seen newer animations too) at our fingertips.
Of course, Motion Capture is already used at least in Notch or Touch Designer programs that allow real-time effects to be applied, but that's a bit of a different tale and a different level.
For some, of course, it will be an unnecessary fiddling (because what good is it to anyone) for others it will be overkill for the size of the production, and for thirds it will be a great field of play. Performances using an on-screen actor who can be whoever he or she wants to be and playing live - standing behind the stage, a dancer on the stage plus 20 other characters on the screen dancing the same thing. These are just the first better ideas that came to my mind.

I know he writes about real-time capture, and of course there is latency. Well, there is, and for the time being we will not jump over that. But the Terminator hasn't appeared yet.
Finally, remember that Artificial Intelligence derives its knowledge from what we come up with. Use your brains judiciously. So much for the topic. In general, it was supposed to be a text only about the app, but AI is an interesting topic and I will definitely come back to it.
