Astra Hybrid330 LED premiere

New hybrid from Prolights!

Such devices as the Stark 1000 or SunBlast probably need no introduction. In addition to washes and effect fixtures, the Italian manufacturer also has a wide range of spot fixtures, profiles of various tightness and power ratings. A new luminaire of the hybrid (beam-spot) type premieres today.

Astra Hybrid330 LED

This is a medium-sized device, looking at the specifications with great capabilities. Armed with a 330W white LED light source emitting a beam of 98k lux at the narrowest beam from a distance of 5m. Speaking of beams, the device has a rather interesting zoom range which ranges from 3.5° to 52°. Comparing to Pointe - that's a degree more at the narrowest and more than 2 times as wide.

Of course, the manufacturer did not forget the CMY color mixing mode, with an additional 9 color filters, except that on separate 3 dials. I don't know why, I didn't design it....

Effectively, the device has two gobo dials, one rotation-indexed with interchangeable gobo dials (20mm) and one static-indexed. In addition, there are two prisms, a linear 6-arm and a circular 8-arm, both with independent rotation channels and indexing option. To top it off, of course, a linear frost filter.

The whole is enclosed in a 411x638x244mm housing weighing 21.6kg. Control is by standard DMX512, RDM, Art.-Net, sACN and W-DMX protocol in one available mode having 29 channels.
