Avolites D9 and T3 launch

Finally, it looks like something!

Who among us is not familiar with the Avolites Titan control systems... It is the kind of system that you either love or hate. Being reasonably familiar with two competing systems and quite not too bad with another, Avo for me has always been too clumsy to use. Its hardware cumbersome and straight out of the 90s. My disgust may stem from the fact that the last Avo I worked on was Titan Pearl Expert. After that experience I didn't want to return to that manufacturer. On the other hand, I know people who do wonders with light on Avo.

My lack of interest was static until the presentation of the D9, which was the first release in a long time to catch my attention. A full-fledged console that, with its design and physical functions, I feel will be able to compete with more popular control systems. In the 215 version, equipped with 15 motorized faders (+2 per function center), 45 programmable buttons, 40 optical encoders and attention - 10 screens I really give a lot of space to work. This version can be compared to the light option from GrandMA. The 330 version, the bigger brother doubles our number of spaces by adding a duplicated segment with an additional large screen and another space with faders and exec buttons, such a "Full-size".

All cool, only they are big tables. Nothing lost, because Avo has announced a new product called T3 and T3-Wing, which is supposed to be a control attachment and additional fader wing for the onPC product. For now, we know as much as pictures of the product corners uploaded to Facebook by the manufacturer. The launch is expected to take place at the Frankfurt show, so we'll be sure to stop by to see the new toys in detail.

I can't hide the fact that along with these launches I was also curious about the software, how it has changed over the years. Given that we recently got the v16 version in which we finally find some interesting additions. A full-fledged 2d layout grid in the form of a plan with the ability to configure it with Capture, or a tracking view that allows you to view attribute values in a cue list. Not to mention the Synergy media control system, ideally to compare with DYLOS from Obsidian.
