I won't beat around the bush, I've always associated BeamZ more with the wedding and DJ market than the old "American DJ," which even has DJ in its name... Recently, however, BeamZ has entered the distribution of Stage Source, which specializes more in equipment from the PRO market.
It was an impulse to approach and ask why, why and for what purpose? The whole thing was brightened up by Radek Zacheja, who clearly explains where the idea to take the lower shelf under his wing came from. As it turns out, BeamZ is currently splitting into the regular series we know and the PRO one.
In the pro shelf, in addition to standard wash, spot and beam fixtures, we also have interesting conventional solutions. We can mention here LED blinders, architectural illuminators, pairs or smoke devices which, as the distributor assures, will be perfect for the rental or installation market faction.
BeamZ was not very popular in the "PRO" segment. It could also have been due to the lack of additional benefits we are used to from distributors of higher segment devices. However, it seems to me that if the devices actually stand up for themselves it could be quite a ladle in the industry cauldron of MID segment devices. As we know, they often complement high-budget implementations.
What can I add, you will have to take a closer look at the devices from the professional segment of the BeamZ brand. And, of course, you will find the entire range on the manufacturer's website at this link.
