Brighter X-STROBE IP

Brighter with new devices in 2025

Quick Introduction

Brighter at the end of January 2025 announced the release of a new device
X-Strobe IP. A classic led strobe that combines an advanced effects engine and pixel-mapping technology. A closer look at this strobe will be available at ISE2025 in Barcelona!

Key features

  • 120 independent sections (24xRGBWW + 96CW).
  • 180* movement in the TILT axis
  • IP65 housing
  • Illumination angle 140*

            Some technical data

With the X-STROBE IP, we apply power via the PowerCon socket. The device also has a TrueCon which is useful for us to connect another device but not another X-STROBE. One unit consumes a maximum of 1900W. When connecting 2pcs we have a "consumption" of 3800W. (Let me remind you that for a single 16A outlet we can plug in a max of 3600W) However, the power is "peak" when strobing. We would be happy to test the strength of 2pcs strobes on a single 16A socket 🙂

The strobe is equipped with 2 LED motors. RGBWW with 1.6w and CW with 1w. The unit has 864 "color" and 576 "white" LEDs in it, which translates into 24 color sections and 96 strobe sections.

Fixed angle of illumination of 140*. When illuminated at maximum power with both LED motors, we get a luminous flux of 3420 Lux (measured at a distance of 3m)

For control we get the classic DMX 3 pin, Art-Net, sACN and RDM. There is an RJ45 connector on board. We can also run the strobe classically "from the finger". We can also find 6 DMX modes. From the usual "Frying Pan", effect mode to pixel modes. Available modes: 3,4,14,22,27,200ch.

            Summary

Finally, some physical parameters. The dimensions of the strobe are 493x175x200mm which translates into a small nimble strobe. The weight at 14 kg with a protection class of IP65 makes it a big competition for similar devices.

In the kit we get a power cord, LAN cable, Omega hooks and an instruction manual. At the moment, the manufacturer has not released the DMX table 🙂 If such an update happens, you will definitely be the first to know 🙂
