GLP Matrix Eye 2 and 4

The era of cluster blinder devices continues at its best. This time, a well-known German manufacturer is expanding its offer.

GLP is launching two new models: Matrix Eye 2 and Matrix Eye 4. These are devices that can find their place both on large festival stages and in more intimate spaces.

Matrix Eye 2 - compact and versatile

Matrix Eye 2 is a dual-chamber LED blinder from the MATRIX series. Equipped with RGBAL LEDs, it offers intense colors and high-quality white light with excellent color reproduction. Thanks to GLP's iQ.Gamut algorithm, a wide color palette is available to the user.

Technical specifications:

  • Light source: 2 modules of 50 RGBAL LEDs each (1000 W total)
  • Luminous flux: 21,500 lm (Boost mode), 14,500 lm (Constant mode)
  • Illumination angle: 60°-100°
  • Dimensions: 200 x 200 x 244 mm
  • Weight: 7 kg
  • Protection class: IP65
  • Power supply: 100-240 VAC, 700 W.
  • Control: DMX, RDM, GLP iQ.Mesh

The unit has active cooling, allowing it to operate at temperatures from -10°C to 45°C. In addition, the Alignment & Linking system makes it possible to combine several units into one cohesive lighting system.

Matrix Eye 4 - more power, more possibilities

For those who need more light, GLP offers the Matrix Eye 4. This is a four-chamber LED blinder that doubles the capabilities of its smaller brother.

Technical specifications:

  • Light source: 4 modules of 50 RGBAL LEDs each (total 2000 W)
  • Luminous flux: 43,000 lm (Boost mode), 29,000 lm (Constant mode)
  • Illumination angle: 60°-100°
  • Dimensions: 400 x 400 x 244 mm
  • Weight: 12 kg
  • Protection class: IP65
  • Power supply: 100-240 VAC, 1400 W.
  • Control: DMX, RDM, GLP iQ.Mesh

Like the Matrix Eye 2, the device has active cooling and an Alignment & Linking system.

Summary

Both models were unveiled at Prolight + Sound 2025 and are already generating interest among lighting professionals.

With its modular design and advanced control capabilities, the Matrix Eye 2 and 4 can become a valuable addition to any lighting kit.
