Stage of Tomorrow is an annual event held in Warsaw (Palace of Culture and Science, 14-15.04), which combines the world of art with the world of modern stage technologies.
It's a place where theater, music and event professionals come together to exchange experiences, inspire each other and learn about the latest technological solutions.

Sounds pretty formulaic right? But we're not one to slap formulas on, so let's take a look at whether the scene of tomorrow is for real based on impressions from last year!
For whom?
First of all, if you're wondering if this is the place for you because you don't feel like a professional, nothing is lost. Based on my experience in the past years, I can confidently say that this is the place for anyone who is interested in modern stage-tech industry solutions. From the enthusiast, to technicians, implementers, artists, etc.
What will we see at this year's edition?
The event itself combines a hybrid concept of a meeting where we will be able to attend lectures, socialize at exhibit booths of manufacturers and distributors, or test new technologies.
This year the lectures are divided into 3 stages. A scheme we are familiar with and can see working since it has been cultivated for another year in a row.

Stage Inspirations: This is the place where the greatest "creators" of international stages are invited. This year we will be able to hear, for example, how the setting of Dawid Podsiadlo's 360 concert was created behind the scenes. Be inspired by the stories of Mikki Kunttu - who was responsible for the realization of, among other things, the setting of Cirque Du Soleil. Listen to how the production of the finale of WOŚP and Pol'and'Rock Festival looked like. Of course, these are just some examples from the rich repertoire of the scene.
Academy Stage: This is the space where we will hear presentations of new devices, or technologies in the context of industry developments. Most of the talks on this stage are lectures, but there will also be discussions, including one on artificial intelligence at events - in which one of the speakers will be our editorial colleague Piotr Zola.
Scene Discussion: Well, it's kind of like live podcasts on various topics. Although this year there will be frequent topics about AI. - As a live podcast, who knows, maybe someday Loose Conversations will premiere live on Tomorrow's Scene....

The spaces housing the stages this year are attractions in their own right. Each of them has been created by a different company, and through the Scenes of Tomorrow app you will be able to vote for the best design. At the end of the event, a winner will be selected.

Scene Inspirations: ATM System
Green Beam Design - Jacek Chojczak is responsible for the stage design. Technological partners are ACME - lighting, Brawlers - sound, MBOX RENTAL - constructions, VES - multimedia and Confetti System, which provided lasers.

Stage DISCUSSIONS - Visual Europe Group Poland
Tomasz Murawski, Head of Production Poland at Visual Europe Group, and Kacper Zaręba of Labo Pracownia Scenografii are responsible for the stage design.

ACADEMY STAGE - Brill AV Media
Brill AV Media's pre-design and implementation team was responsible for the design of the stage.

It is not with lectures that man lives...
The truth is that the event is stuffed with various talks, program meetings. According to the agenda I tell you - you are not able to be at everything. Let's move on to the important issue - the exhibition space.

As every year, many companies will exhibit their booths where they will present the latest solutions or equipment. "Corridor", in addition to the opportunity to see the latest technologies live, also gives us the opportunity to integrate. Take advantage of this because it is the only time a year where you can meet many great personalities and professionals in between.
What it boils down to is that whether you're a professional or just starting out, it's a great place to meet new people and expand your knowledge and build new perspectives for further development.
This year's surprises
This year, of the additional attractions, we know that there will also be an interactive 360 stage mockup by Dawid Podsiadlo, made especially for the occasion. The information was given by Rafal Rzeczkowski during the live broadcast. Personally, I am terribly curious about the effect.
On top of that, a bus from Robe, a showroom on wheels by the Czech manufacturer, will come to Poland for the first time, standing in the parking lot in front of the Palace of Culture.
The Stage Wizard of Tomorrow
That is, a contest where you could submit your nominations for the Tomorrow's Stage Wizard award, where a committee selects the winner based on the submissions. The winner joins the chapter so that in the following year it has a say in determining the next winner.

After the fiasco last year with the various categories of the contest, the organizers decided to bring back the original formula - that is, one overall award for "Wizard." Who is the wizard mentioned? A person who has realistically influenced trends in the industry with his design, approach and applied technologies. I'll frankly admit that this is a rather controversial point of the event, and in my opinion it doesn't quite work as it should.
We had planned to submit our nominations this year, but time ate us up a bit. Well, we will make up for it next year....
Summary
In conclusion, I have nothing left to do but to invite you and encourage you to attend this event if you are hesitant. I am well aware that opinions vary, but you can't get along with everyone. Me, I think it's worth it - because of how many opportunities are accumulated during the two days of the event.
