If you hear strange sounds from the apartment next door and they resemble a combination of a renovation and Beethoven's 5th symphony, then someone is probably doing a performance on Touchdesigner.
Soft is used to program 2D and 3D visualization in real time. Mapping is not a problem either. In a nutshell, you plug in a camera let in sound and you can apply live video effects that will react to the sound. Simple and cool right? Apparently so, but here you need to put some effort, which is why the company provides a free educational version, which you can find here: https://derivative.ca/download

Take and learn all because the capabilities of this software are unexplored. On YouTube you will easily find tutorials (in Polish too). Just remember that this is not a media server for playing movies, although it could be one if you wanted, but this is what Resolume or D3 are for.

If I had to describe in my own words what Touchdesigner is used for, this meme at the top describes exactly how much fun it is. This is because we have the ability to connect the program to devices via ArtNet, DMX or sACN. We also hook up lasers and even the biggest pioneers don't know what else. All that's left is to start letting the rasps and crackles from our communion synthesizer into the program and watch them paint themselves in the form of images or light on the devices.
But that's all in very simplified terms. I think I'll be tempted to write a longer article someday, and for now I encourage everyone to learn. Feel the artist in you and write ''I am an artist'' in your resume. A video for encouragement (I recommend the Tundra team).
